На одному з операційних напрямків група воїнів 8 окремого полку Сил спеціальних операцій виконувала комплекс завдань, від яких залежала стійкість оборони та безпека сусідніх підрозділів.

Противник намагався діяти малими групами, просочуватися у глибину та створювати кризові ситуації своїм накопиченням. Проте оператори ССО завчасно виявляли такі спроби й прямими діями — із застосуванням БпЛА та сучасних засобів ураження — зупиняли ворога ще в «сірій зоні» та за лінією бойового зіткнення.

Група ізолювала проходи, перекривала підходи, змушувала противника відкривати себе , в результаті прямими діями та наведенням вогневих засобів, знищувала ворожі підрозділи . У результаті цих дій було знищено десятки окупантів і поповнено обмінний фонд Сил оборони України.

«У боротьбі з штурмами противника перемагає не відчайдушна сміливість, а ефективне застосування технічних засобів розвідки й спостереження, дисципліна та злагоджена інтеграція груп ССО з вогнем старшого командира», — зазначив один з операторів групи.

The work of one of the groups from the 8th SOF Regiment

On one of the operational directions, warriors from the Ukrainian SOF 8th Regiment of the carried out a set of tasks crucial for maintaining the stability of defense and the safety of neighboring units.

The enemy attempted to operate in small groups, infiltrate deep into our territory, and create crisis situations by massing forces. However, SOF operators detected these attempts in advance and, through direct actions—including the use of UAVs and modern weapons—neutralized the enemy before they reached the “gray zone” and the line of contact.

The group isolated passages, blocked approaches, and forced the enemy to reveal themselves. As a result of direct actions and targeted fire support, they destroyed enemy units. These actions resulted in the elimination of dozens of occupiers and capture of POWs.

One of the operators said: “In the fight against enemy assaults, victory is not achieved by reckless bravery but by the effective use of recon tools, discipline, and the coordinated integration of SOF groups with the fire support of the senior commander.”
