На цих етапах життя цілої групи ССО знаходиться у руках водіїв. Це одна з найскладніших і найвідповідальніших ролей у спеціальних операціях.

За найгіршої погоди, коли нічого не видно, неможливою або навіть неіснуючою дорогою – це базовий їхній маршрут.

А ще є евакуація – коли терміново треба забрати групу, бо там є поранені. Тоді, водії вриваються просто в пекло за своїми.

Every SOF operation begins and ends with the road.

Group infiltration and exfiltration are critical phases — the covert, carefully planned insertion and extraction of operators into and out of the operational area.

During these moments, the lives of the entire SOF team are in the drivers’ hands. It is one of the most difficult and demanding roles in special operations.

In the worst weather, when visibility is near zero, on impossible — or even non-existent — roads, they still move forward. That is their standard route.

And then there is evacuation — when a team must be extracted immediately because there are wounded. In those moments, the drivers charge straight into hell for their own.

Within SOF, everyone understands the true value of a driver.
