👨🔧 Ukrainian professionals restored the 750kV ZNPP – Dniprovska high-voltage transmission line
This morning, October 12, at 08:59 am, due to a rocket attack by russian troops, the 750 kV ZNPP – Dniprovska transmission line was emergency disconnected. Thus, Zaporizhzhya NPP went to full black-out mode, and the stand-by diesel generators were started.
💪 Ukrainian experts have found a technical solution to restore the transmission line – and the plant's in-house needs are fed from the power system of Ukraine again.
Thanks to the courage and professionalism of Ukrainian nuclear workers a negative scenario was avoided yet again. However, the russian military keeps shelling Europe's largest nuclear power plant and related energy infrastructure, bringing the world closer to nuclear and radiation disaster over and over.
