Унаслідок атаки рф у ніч на 16 серпня здійнялася пожежа в нежитлових забудовах двох районів столиці. Також пошкоджень зазнали вітражні вікна виходу з підземного переходу станції метро «Почайна».

Через нічну російську атаку у ніч проти 20 серпня в Києві 15 загиблих і 33 постраждалих. Пошкоджені житлові й нежитлові будівлі у Святошинському, Солом’янському та Дарницькому районах, а також школа і дитячий медзаклад в одному з цих районів. 21 серпня в місті оголошено Днем жалоби в пам’ять за жертвами масованої атаки ворога.

Також 20 серпня внаслідок денної атаки ворога виявили одного загиблого і двох постраждалих у приміщенні бізнес-центру в Голосіївському районі. російські БпЛА атакували об’єкт критичної інфраструктури. Перебої гарячої води виникли в Деснянському і частині Дніпровського районів.

Брюссель поруч із Києвом з перших днів повномасштабної війни. За цей час передали карети швидкої допомоги, пожежні авто, генератори, медичне та реабілітаційне обладнання, допомогу для зберігання експонатів музею Івана Гончара. Київські медики стажувалися у Брюсселі. Діти відпочивали в бельгійській столиці.
